Default d16 bottom end????

i searched but didnt find any solid answers, so i figured id ask...what is the safe-rev limit for a stock d16z6 bottom end??? im gonna be running skunk2 st 1 cam w/skunk valvesprings. if i keep stock retainers i was gonna rev to like about 7500, but if i get ti ones i wanna go like 8000 to get all the power out of the cam. can a stock bottom end handle that high????? thanks in advance for any input

you can take the d16 to 8K RPM. of course this is at optimum conditions. good motor, properly tuned.
We took our stock A6 bottom end to 8K all the time, daily driven.

yes a stock bottom end can handle it, just dont go on a power trip and blast your rpm's every time... if you start to get a little iffy, buy some pistons, and blah blah blah. you know how it goes
