Icon2 tokico and ground control?

What do you guys think of this (tokico blues and ground controls) setup for a decent riding somewhat low (like three inches of lowering) setup for an em1? I dont want it to ride bouncy at all and i have no experience with ground controls sleeve coiklovers. My car has no other modifications done to it.

I would get better shocks if you plan on going that low. I don't have any experience first hand with the blues, but I believe they are basically just a stock replacement. So they probably won't last too long riding dumped. If I were you I would save just a little bit more money and get some Koni yellows. Tirerack is having a good sale on them right now for $112 each (through June). You can't beat that with a stick, IMO.

blues are a oem replacement... lowering 3 inches will blow them up, and ride like crap.

look into illumnias or koni as he said, but im 99% sure you cant use non koni gcs with konis shocks.

im running this set up and love it! it isnt bouncy at all and its pretty smooth going over most bumps. my car is dropped about 3 inches and the shocks are still good. ive had this setup for maybe 1 year...

hope this helps.

they ride decent. i had that set up on my last integra. it wasnt the best setup that i would recommend, but its nothing thats going to give you a headache.

heres a picture of the height i was at and i was happy with it, not to much bottoming out where it was at.

although i would have gone with the new setup im getting which is skunk2 coilovers
