Mine were on my 98, than i got a 97 and put them in that, than it got toteled and i put them on my 00 SiR and they fit, i just had to use washers.

I agree, my blues BLEW OUT in 600 miles. And both shox.com and Tokico wouldn't make good on my warranty. Don't do it!!

I do agree, i havnt been happy with them at all, i hav had alot of friends that have had them blow out. Mine are about **** and there only 2 years old. If i was you i wouldnt spend money on them.

Well I'm getting a good deal with the shocks coil overs top hats and bumpstops, did you have any problems running washers? Alot of people said it would cause the bolt to break holding the fork to the lca. Did you guys get the metal spacers provided with them? Would you wanna dell em?

That's bullshit, I've been driving on mine for 2 years now with H&R Sport Springs. WAY BETTER than stock. I'm not saying they're better than Koni or anything, but they are better than stock and that's for damn sure.

Considering the Tokico HP (blue) is pretty much a "stock-replacement" damper, I'm not surprised. If you want "performance" dampers for stiff springs and low ride heights, Tokico offers the Illumina for such uses. As an added bonus, Illuminas are adjustable.
And of course there are other inexpensive performance damper options out there from Koni, Bilstein, and KYB.
And of course you have your pricier threaded-body shocks and coilover systems like Moton, Ohlins, Penske, etc. but I'm sure those are getting out of your price range and intended use

You obviously don't have much experience with other dampers . . .

You should be fine with washers. Why would it cause the bolt to break if it is spaced properly?

Thats what I thought but here is what some one on here told me.
Spacing your bushings out with washers is unsafe at best. Once you torque those bolts down, those washers compress. With constant horizontal loading, over time, those washers will compress further. This will allow the weight of the car to be carried directly on the bolt. Without ALL of the energy being transfered from the LCA directly to the dampner, the bolt will flex and eventually break.
I would only use those washers for a temporary fix...
