i just installed a Toda lightweight flywheel (in addition to new clutch, ats final and lsd) in my car. i am very impressed. i was told that you would lose much bottom end, but apparently i still have most of it. i can easily lose traction in first and second, moreso than even with the stock flywheel. the difference was 6.5lbs! definatley a worthwhile mod in my opinion.

Isn't your car suppose to go throught the revs alot faster when you have a lightened flywheel? If so, I don't understand why you would loose bottom end. Not sure though, I never owned a lightened flywheel.

I've one work with Spoon clutch, it rev a lot quicker just like u had a close ratio gearbox, but lost torque below 3000rpm.

you don't lose torque with a lightened flywheel. the car will accelerate faster in any gear at any speed. but, you will (according to theory, didn't happen for me...) lose off the line performance due to the flywheel not carrying the rotational inertia of the crank, and attempting to "bog" so to speak.

i tend to disagree. simply because the lightened flywheel will help you rev faster to get up in the power band. i think a lot of the guys in drag racing are trying different things to get faster et's. i think lisa kubo is running 10.x:1 compression too. good schtuff man.
