Default Which tires for 14" rims?

Hey all

I have a 2000 Civic hatch and am replacing my Si rims with stock steelies (for comfort reasons). I wanted to go with 195 series tires (rather than the stock 185), but need to know the sidewall dimensions to make sure there is no fender liner rubbing. Does anyone know what the correct sidewall size is - 195/65/14 or 195/60//14?

TIA

65-taller sidewall , more comfort. 60- shorter sidewall, less comfort.

i am aware of what the sizes mean... my question is about whether the 65 series will fit without rubbing.

So the question remains - does anyone run 195/65/14 without rubbing?

If it rubs roll your fenders. I have 205/50/15 and only the back rubbed slightly until i rolled the flange inside the fender a tiny bit. cant even tell. how low is your car.

The car is not too low - I have 205/50/15 now and there are no rubbing issues. The 195/65/14 is bigger in diameter than the tires/wheels I have now, which is why I wanted confirmation from someone who actually runs that size before getting these tires.
