Tire Sizes
In a previous post I talked about suspension and some problems I have with rubbing. Which brought me to this question. What size tires you all running on 17 inches wheels? 205 45's or 205 40's? I am running 45's and get occasional tire rub.

Re: Tire Sizes (hondastrtracr)
if u rub with 45's i would say get 40's. have u rolled ur fenders yet? and what do u have 17's on? i hope its an s2k and u posted this in the wrong section. but the only way u wont have that much of a problem with rubbing is by running the smaller tire and rolling the fenders. the offset off the wheels could also be what is causing you to rub a lil.

What car do you own?
205/40-17 would be the appropriate size for '96-'00 Civics, but still larger than the stock diameter for '92-'95 Civics.

Re: Tire Sizes (Padawan)
99-00 Civic Sedan, S2000 I wish, someday. Its minor rub but over the years wore down the plastic inside fender guard. No occasionaly a dip on the high way ill get some rubbing.
