Tire Size?; Install 195s on stock 14"?
Hi,
I have a '93,1.6l delsol.
Does anyone know if I could install 195 or 205s size tires on my stock 14" rims. Its lowered 1.5".
I have attached a photo for reference, tires look small and lots of free space between tire and fender.
I don't want bigger rims, just nice wider tires for looks and to fill the space without rubbing insides while turning.
Currently i have 1856014s.
Thanks for your help!

^Pointless .02 as op says he doesn't want bigger wheels
At your ride height, there is no way you would have rubbing issues with 195's
I had 195/55r14 kumho ecsta V710 on stock 14" Honda steelies and loved them. Was lower in the front then attached above pic as well.

I have 195 55R's on a stock del sol w/ 15's. No rubbing but the current set of tires has been wearing uneven (cupping) on the inside on the rears. I blame the tires because my last set (different brand) wore perfectly.
This set Dunlop Direzza 101's
Last set Kuhmo Ecstas
I wish I had bought a set of Kuhmos again at half the price for better tires.

thanks.
i'm trying to have that indy car look with tires sticking out. i saw a s2000 it looked awesome. i was hoping to do it with my car but i don't know what i will need to do it. different rims and 195 tires, wheel spacers?. I mean what additional hardware do i need, also do you guys think its not good idea for daily driving, city/hwy, will it have handling/stearing issues?. trying to do some research. thanks
p.s. my budget is $1k to do this mod.

195's on 14 in wheels is not going to give you an "indy car look"...nor is it even remotely going to look like that bmw.

You want the "stanced/poke" look pretty much. coilovers, camber kits, spacers, lower offset wheels, fender roll would need to be done. If you buy quality parts, you might be able to get away with spending like $1.5k if all the parts are name brand and used. Don't expect your car to drive the same way as it does now though.
Going from a 185 to a 195, means it is wider, not taller (for the most part). You have much to learn.
