Tire Measurements

Hi I am sort of new to tire measurements and just learning. I need help on which tires to buy x / x / x (measurement wise). I just bought tims with these specifications: 16x7 4x100 lug pattern 45 offset. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

a good tire size would be 205/50 or 45/16

yeah... depending on how low your car is the 50 or 45 is the height of the tire...

so if you want a higher tire, you would get 50, if you want a lower you get 45?

yeah... 40 series are really low profile... 45 are a little bigger 50, 55, 60 etc...

The first # is the width, the second # is the height, and the third is your wheel size.....
