My transmission is down, and I was thinking of giving it a good clean/polish, make it look newer maybe? Anyways, what do you guys do? What would you suggest? Sanding? Some liquid or paste? Some household solution? Anyways. . . thanks in advanced!

engine brite gel degreaser, purple power and a brush, can get these at wal-mart. I guess if you want you could sand but that stuff will get most/all of it quite easy just scrub hard lol
