timing off by gear or two = Ignition incorrect?
Please help me!!!
Car doesnt stumble but seems to be retarded and lags when i go into gear and gas it. Dizzy is directly in the center and adj. cam gear is still in the center. Timing is off by a gear or two...I used the timing gun...and the three red marks are off to the right. Can i correct this my adjusting the dizzy or cam gear? Is this lagging because my timing is off? Currently turbo and dont want to be messing with the timing. I would just redo the timing but the first time i did it...took long as hell...plus the crank bolt is a bitch to take off.
some insight would be nice.

My insight is take it to a shop where they can tune it and correct your timing mistakes so your new engine doesn't blow up.
