Timing issues and cam installation...
Hey i just took the head of my ek sedan the motor is y7 and i got a different head but i had to swap the cam over..... Does anyone have any advice to make this easy? plus if anyone has the cam bolts torq spec...

Its all easy. no real tips or tricks. If you run into problems. Send a private message i can walk you through it, ive done it like 6 times. Just make sure u replace seals and stuff while your in there. You'll regret it later on. TRUST me. Mine smokes at start up now. Cause i was too lazy to put new stem seals in when i rebuilt the bottom end.

it's cake man, y8's are easy and y7's are even easier cause they don't have a 3rd lobe, buy a service manual, they are worth the 25 bucks advance auto parts charges for them, plus it'll have the step by step procedure you are looking for and the torque specs of the rocker arm bolts
