Cam Holder Plates
Okay, this is getting on my nerves.
I pulled the plates that hold the cam holders on my b16 off, I pulled the bolts out and just layed them in a pile.
THEN I read everywhere, make sure you keep these bolts in order, but no info as to WHY?
So what did I do wrong? What is my solution?

I remember I rebuilt my motor and I didn't keep them in order. Probably because of the fact bolts stretch usually when you take them off, and it'd be better if they are in their
correct location. Just my opinion. I don't know if it's true or not.

doesnt matter...some people are just too ****...what happens if u break one then...they sell them new for a reason...the cam caps is what u need to have in the right place and they cant be used from another head...
It really doesnt matter at all. ive been putting all the bolts in a pile and reinstalling them anywhere in many vtec engines for years. Just be sure to properly torque them. And the most important thing is to make sure the cam holders are installed correctly
exactly. i've had hardware living in ziploc bags for years and never had a problem putting it back together
