Timing belt took a dump
Well just like the title says. The belt didnt snap but lost many tooth on it. I got a new belt from honda but, was curious if anyone ever use another brand that is reliable? I have a 97 civic with Ls swap. The belt that was on it was change +/- 70,000 miles ago (belt from advance auto parts).

Re: Timing belt took a dump
My idiot friend is still running the original Honda timing belt on his 00 CRV with 230K on it. Granted, I know that's only about 170K longer than you're supposed to, but it's enough proof for me.
OEM Honda all the way. Timing belt is waaaaay too important to cheap out on.
