timing belt help
hey all fellow hondinians. i have a question. i need to replace the timing belt on my 2000 civic si and i've heard different things bout how to do it so i dont have to redo the timing on it. does ne one have ne experience on doing this? plz hit me up

yeah if you mark everything, when you put it back together timing should not be off. maybe a little but just mark everything should be fine

go to http://www.hondatuningmagazine.com it has a great pictorial "how to" for timing belt. the crankshaft pulley "holder" is available on amazon.com. it is worth the 30 bucks. u will need 1/2 drive to break free crankshaft pulley bolt. it requires a 20" extension and a huge extension on the wrench. i used a 6 foot piece of pipe. the torque is incredible. watch out for the woodruff key when removing the pulley. i superglued mine back in place for ease of reinstalling the pulley.
