Hello, this is a pretty stupid question but I currently have my transmission removed from the engine and when spinning the throwout/clutch release bearing by hand, it makes a whirring sound. However, when the transmission was connected to the car, it didn't make any noise at all. The throwout bearing, or any bearing for that matter, should not make noise when spun by hand correct?
