Default Throttle sticking after D16Y8 Intake Mani swap...

I swapped the D16y8 intake mani on my Y7. now when I stop and lights and stuff my throttle sticks some times (it's hard to press the pedal down). I have to tap it pretty good to get it to go.

It feels like the throttle cable is binding somewhere... Do I need the Y8 throttle cable?

by the way I did get the intake mani bracket for the throttle cable but the rest of the cable brackets are my Y7 brackets...

I had the problem too when I did the swap. I kept readjusting the throttle cable tension and it was gone in a while.

Did you use your throttle body from the y7?

Just make sure there is no slack in it. You can also try brushing the point where the butterfly pivots on the throttle body to be sure that's not the culprit.
