Default y8 Intake manifold swap: throttle cable issue

i kept the longer y7 throttle cable on there, i was wondering if i can just adjust it to get the throttle working correctly rather than having to swap the cable out for the shorter y8 one?

How hard is it to swap out a throttle cable anyway?

Its really easy, take it off the intake manifold, twist off the firewall... And slide it off the pedal...pull it out from the firewall... Reverse for instalation
