Default Throttle Body Spacer question for d16z6

my friend said he could make me one but will i gain or lose power from this? he said that sometimes you can lose power with tb spacers so told me to ask a forum if they would gain or lose power. this is technically free just need to buy gaskets so cost aside do they gain power?

Default Re: Throttle Body Spacer question for d16z6 (xXxGallo24xXx)

I have one (Airaid) in my 94' Si (D15B swap), and I definately think it gave me more power, I agree a dyno will tell. The mid range acceleration is much better, plus I get another 1 - 2 miles to the gallon with general driving in mind.
