Response will be better if you port match it to the intake manifold. HP minimal gains. you will feel a difference but a butt dyno is not reliable.

Saw on powerpages that this gained like 3 hp or something on a d16z6 it was on an import tuner magazine power pages, you have to look at the dyno graph. Dynos are reliable it's a mathematical equation, like a computer. Let's you know exactly how much hp @ peak rpm as with torque.

If your engine doesn't suck in enough air to warrant a bigger throttle body, then no.
The only engines that do that from the factory are H22s as far as I know, even stock they LOVE big throttle bodies. ~10whp from a 70mm throttle body.
If you have a d-series or a b-series you can probably forget about it. Unless you've got cams/cam.

What engine? Mods? And what size TB did you get? As these other guys said, unless your engine is modified, the factory TB is hard to beat. Although when you install it you will feel like your making way more powah but its purely a synapse because a larger TB lets more air in at a given throttle angle than a smaller TB would i.e. at 50% throttle your stock TB flows 200cfm of air and the larger TB at 50% throttle flows 300cfm (purely hypothetical values) so your "butt dyno" feels like the car is faster. In reality its not, because once you reach wide open throttle your engine only pulls the needed amount of air due to head, cams, intake restriction.

Exactly, a bigger TB only compliments your engine modifications. It isn't the driving force of power creation.

pointless to add a bigger throttle body if you don't port match the intake manifold inlet to the same as the throttle body. most people gain tq from a bigger t/b and little to no hp.

hey, well my throttle is really hard to press down and sticks, so i brought it to the tune shop to see what it is and they said that its the cable and the throttle body thats what is wrong so they said there gonna put the skunk 2 one in since its on sale. and i have a b16a2 with just a k&n typhoon cold air intake. i was just wondering if i will see any power gain/throttle response or anything after i put it in. so know that u knwo what i have? what exacly will change after it will be put in.(sry for the questions and not understanding. im 17 and this is my first car and i dont know too much mechanical wise about the car soo.. haha please help me out and work with me here haha.)thanks-vin

he's not gonna see much of anything really. thats 400 bucks for maybe 1-2 horsepower. MAYBE. i'd save my money. hell, for around 600 more dollars you can start looking into motor swaps.

i have a b16a2, and the only reason why im getting it is becuase i need it to fix my throttle to help it stop sticking and having the throttle being so hard to be pushed down

Re: hp gain on upgraded throttle body
why dont you just adjust your set screw and it wont get stuck...? it will raise your idle slightly but i would rather raise my idle 50-200 rpms and save 400
