Alright guys its time for me to de grease my motor and make it look new again. now i went to the FAQ but was not able to find anything on things that i need to avoid, so water dosnt get in my motor, im sure alot of you have done this and im sure you did a good job.

I usually put a bag over the distributor and intake. Everything else is fair game.

What about the fuse panel? Can't water in there hurt it too??

If its a Bseries, try for water not to go in where the sparkplugs are,cover that up also and covering the alternator also helps

yeah i was actually gonna cover the whole head and anything thats electrical even tho im just spraying the block i cant take any chances

This type of work is usually done when you rebuild the engine. Washing your engine while everything electrical is plugged in might cause you headaches down the road.
