Is there something that can not be fixed by hitting a curb?
Well I have a 99 Civic Si and I hit a curb for a second time a month or two back. The first time I replaced a LCA actually I got it fixed and it was good as new. But this second time I hit a curb @ about 20 MPH the spacing moved about a inch back towards the rear so the tire sits a little to the rear. I bought a LCA brand new from honda and Im scared once I get it replaced my car will never be as it was. Im so scared im planning on just taking out the B16 and putting it in a EG and just make the EG my fast car and my EM1 with a D series engine my whatevers grocery getter car.
But the EG will cost me 2K - 3K dollars but ill have a second car that I dont really need . Ill still do work to my car (EM1) like try to get it to go str8 and drive without shaking but not as much. I just think my car is about to go to **** and Im gonna be in some ****. All my plans on a boosting my em1 will literally go to **** if I cant get my damn car to go str8 without shaking and ******* oversteer like a muthafucker. When I say oversteer you have to actually turn it more to the left to go left . But the right side actually turns and responds ok but the left dosent respond well. Damn Damn Damn. Give me your input on this. I plan to take it to a expert to see what is actually wrong with my car. Please give me input your responses will be taken seriously.

Re: Is there something that can not be fixed by hitting a curb? (Rocks)
Its possible you ripped a mount off of the frame of the car, in that case some seriouse welding will be needed to fix it properly, take it to a good shop and it should ALL be repairable, might not be the cheapest to repair but its repairable non the less, Unless you seriously messed it up but i doubt it. Have someone inspect it propper and take some pics while its in the air so we can tell if where they stand, full of bs and overpriced ext.

My thoughts are take it in to get it aligned and start from there. The mechanics will tell you what all is wrong and what you will need to get it fixed. Also, learn how to drive.
