Is there a solvent to remove the corrosion off the battery?
For some reason, my positive connection has corrosion...I used engine parts cleaner (industrial strength)...and it didnt do much, I got some off however. But two weeks later, the corrosion is there.
Im wondering if the stereo system being tapped into the connection is causing this. But, is there a chemical/solvent at an auto parts store that will get rid of it?
TIA.

They sell battery terminal cleaner things. They have to parts. One to clean the, for lack of better words, nipple on the batter and one to clean the connector. I'll go take a picture of mine if you'd like. They work pretty good.

try Coke, or baking soda and vinegar. When done, coat the terminals with petroleum jelly (I'm sure you have some).

Everybody has Coke, or bakingsoda and vinegar. Why bother purchasing some spray or a brush if the latter is free? Concerning the vaseline, a light coating on the terminals will help protect it from oxidizing again.

I use dielectric grease, since I have some lying around. Never tried vaseline, but I guess it'll do the same.
