Is there a governor on the b18c1
i have an eg hatch with the b18c1 in it
after i pin the speedometer it doesnt feel like you are going past 140mph
is there a governor on it and if so where does it top you out at and can you remove it without getting a new chip

First off, should you really be pinning the speedo on the streets? Doesnt sound like the most safe practice...
But regardless, yes, all US spec hondas have electronic speed governors. They can be removed by having your P72 rechipped. Again, do you really need to go 140mph, let alone more than that??

i only do that just to see what the new mods have done and only on the highway when there are no car on it

JDM b18c ECU has a 120mph cut-off
