thanks everyone for the support and help car is getting torn apart next week
Just thought I would keep you updated on the car.
here is the setup
93 civic coupe ex
b18c1 84mm bore
darton sleeved
top line engine rering kit
stock oem hg cut to 84mm
Je pistons 84mm 9:1
crower stage 2 turbo cams
crower springs and retainer kit
crower stainless steel valves exhaust28mm 1 mm over intake 34mm 1mm over
crower adjustable cam sprockets
crower 4340 chromoly steel billet connecting rods
holley hp fuel pump
rc 440 injectors
2.5 pipes for exhaust and hi flow cat and magnaflow exhaust
honda data s200 with boost compatiblity
rebuilt b18c tranny with quaife lsd atb
arp head studs
exedy clutch and chromoly 8lbs flywheel
rev hard stage 2c (keep ac )
if i can scrape together enough money im also getting a new jg intake manifold and 45 shot of nos
that is if i can scrape together another 900 dollars in next two weeks.
so what does everyone think of the setup (mustang killer? ) maybe but i was just looking for a fun car that handles alright and has some go so either way ill be happy. Thanks for all the help and advice. I'm only going to push 12 psi on the road and at the track so i dont think i'll have any reliablity issues. Then next month podium preformance is coming down to dyno tune my car and pull out a few extra horses. So hopefully it will all come out ok. Much love to traksyde auto for doing the swap and hooking me up with a deal. If your in delaware and need to get stuff done for a good price go see them. They rock and he use to work for honda so he knows all about them. I sold him my d16 for 300 bucks he is putting it a 80 something civic for his son.
engine work and turbo +labor grand total = $8563.24
suspension grand total = $2300.00
grand total for everything = 10863.24
listening to deftones and making cars eat my dust = priceless
Thanks everyone ill have charts up next month of dyno results and pictures shortly after the engine is in car.
