Default Temperature sender, which one?

so my radiator fan wont turn on. i took two wires and hooked them up to the battery terminals, n then to the plug on the fan, and it turned on. so the fan isnt blown, its the sender. there are two senders though on my b16 i believe, one right on the block under the distributor, and another if you follow the lower radiator hose. my question, does anyone know which one i have to replace so the fan will kick back on? thanks.

it's the one on the thermostat housing. if you unplug the plug and jump it with a wire the fan should kick on then you know the switch is bad.
