Default F...en CODE 43

My friend is getting code 43 on his 93 coupe. ECU is right and so is the 4 wire o2. Using the stock harness, but extended (not by me) for different location of the o2.

It's only throwing code 43 (which is O2 heater). I checked resistance between green/something wire on the TPS sensor and one of the heater wires it was 0.5ohm (so that's right), I also checked the resistance between second heater wire, and injector junction box (yellow/black wire) resistance was 0.5ohms (so that's right too). Checked the resistance between heater wire terminals on the O2 and it was 13ohms (so that's in spec (10-40 ohms spec)). I also checked if there is voltage flowing to the heater terminals and on of them had 12.xxV and other one had -12.xxV flowing thru them with ignition on. So what the ****, I've even checked the signal wire connetions they were good too.

WHAT the **** is going on?

BTW the CEL goes on after couple minutes after warm up (when it goes into a closed loop).

I HATE O2 SENSORS

You mean two heater wires? I don't think it will make a difference since it's only a resistance circuit, I don't think it has anything to do with polarity. Plus it's still using the original plug which the the right color wires in the right socket, and they seem to have the right polarity flowing thru them (according to the manual).

well it could be bad but technicaly it says it's in spec. I guess I will try to throw my o2 ouf of my car into his and see what's going to happen. But this is shitty diagnosis.

It is.

Did this code pop up after the recent O2 extension?
