Default Temperature gauge not working.

I got an engine and underbody wash and changed my cylinder head cover gasket, distributor o- ring and the head cover washers. Also changed my oil, and oil filter on my 99 Civic, D15B cvt tranny and now my temperature gauge doesn't work at all.

It doesnt move from below the C. Any suggestion as to why this is happening and probable solutions?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
