Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today
I put my foot on the break but realized I wasn't slowing down at all then I increased the pressure as I was approaching the car in front of me and next thing I heard was a loud THUD (my brake pedal slamming to the floor) followed by an even louder thud, this time I was under the car in front of me. The airbags didn't deploy and very little to no damage was done to the other car as the impact was low speed but damn did it mess up my hood lol.

Stainless steel is thee way to go. Riding around in a car with 150k miles on the original rubber brake hoses is asking for trouble.

Went to tire land and had the winters swapped from the bent acura steelies to the 4 good shape honda 6th gen steelies I finally found at the salvage yard.
No more bead leak. Too bad the hubcaps I have are for the 5th gen 13" wheels.

I got the dealership to install mine under warranty. They broke some of the trim. Then they didn't tell me they broke it until after I asked about it. It's probably better to install them yourself.

Sort of. They bought me a used piece of trim from somewhere that is the right color, but has several broken mounting posts on the back, and they didn't put it in for me.
Fortunately, I suspected that's what they were going to do so I bought a better used piece off E-Bay for $20.
I'm never going back to them for service and I'm definitely not going to recommend them to anyone.

They said mine wouldn't be under warranty unless the srs light was on or there was a problem with the buckles. That sucks about your trim, man. I get a discount from them because my dad and I run a garage, so that was a plus... my trim is all out anyway as I put new carpet in there; plus, I'm reupholstering the seats and the headliner. The service manager was a bit of a jerk, too; but I told him I had originally called to order them and that the parts guy said to check with service about a warranty; I did. Service guy said to bring it out for them to look at and see if it'd be a warranty thing. I guess the smart-alecky service guy thought I was trying to get something for nothing? Idk, but I told him why I drove 45 FREAKING MINUTES OVER THERE!!! LolI also asked him if he'd ever seen a Civic like mine. He kinda rolled his eyes, got up, went to the door, and said, "Holy s4!+!!! You guys come look at this!" His whole attitude changed when he saw that 3.0 sticking out of the hood. Mississippi folks don't see that everyday. We're behind the times...
