Started replacing the rack in a 95 civic ex sedan, but the owner brought an integra rack instead and the lines are a tad different. Not sure what we're going to do. Until then, its stuck on my lift.

That one is pretty popular, my build is similar but not an evo motor. Tried to make it look Honda as possible still not finished. Eventually when its not my daily I'll look into AWD for now it's just FWD.

The owner is my friend, and we're looking locally for the correct eg rack, otherwise the only difference is the eg has a ps cooler, the integra doesn't. Or if it does its plumbed differently. We can easily bypass/delete the cooler with no issues.
There's a write up on eg-civic about it. But, i prefer the 100% oem option, and I'm waiting on him to find the correct rack first.

My post wasnt really a question, or asking for advice.
The owner is my friend, and we're looking locally for the correct eg rack, otherwise the only difference is the eg has a ps cooler, the integra doesn't. Or if it does its plumbed differently. We can easily bypass/delete the cooler with no issues.

Made it look more dull, found the flattest black i could in engine paint haha. Going to pull out the P/S rack&pinion to swap in the manual one i bought yesterday.

Integra rack in the eg is done and complete. Now due for an alignment and it's out the door!
Nothing botched, eg rack has 3 ports, 3rd port runs direct to the reservoir, removed the line/hoses and swapped the reservoir for an integra one, 2.5 qts of Honda ps fluid dumped in and she's all buttoned up. I hear the integra rack is quicker ratio than the eg, guess we'll see tomorrow!

I finally boosted my EK after owning it for 12 years. Definitely a lot more fun now. Made 220whp @ 4.5lbs.
I give it 2 years on stock internals if I'm not too mean.
