tein cheaper than other?
Does anyone here run a tein full coil over setup? If so, where did you get it, how much was it? I have heard that it is cheaper to get that than other coils, plus shocks, and alignment kits.

I dont have Tein coilovers, but i know enough about them to tell you that they are a good choice. Its probably the best out in the market right now. The only con is that they are pricy. they run up to about $1,300.00 for Type HA. But their are places that sell them cheaper. I found a place that sells them for about 980 for type HA and the type SS for 915. It would be a really good choice to get these instead of buying some other coilvers, camber kit, shocks, and alignment kits.

i personally have tein type ss on my 96 civic and have nothing bad to say about them. they cost me $930 shipped to my door through http://www.turboevolution.com . They are definatly my top pick for coilovers. You can also get the pillowball mounts for an addition $300.

Re: tein cheaper than other? (Mr. Shin)
the spring rates have to be better than the rates on my ground control coils. but, is it anymore expensive to get the optional higher spring rates?
also, that turboevolution site doesnt work. anyone else got a good place?

if im not mistaken, by the look at the pillow ball mounts, they appear to be adjustable so that you can correct camber to a certain degree.....i would def. say they are worth it, unless u want to be changing tires all the time. (damn camber problems like a champ here, as of right now)

Re: tein cheaper than other? (BigZ88)
you can relatively pick up the tien ha's for under 1000 now. the reason is they have a manufacture in the us now. i picked up a set for 950 no tax. from what ive heard, the pillow mounts gives your car a stiffer ride cause the rubber grommet and the metal cap that covers the top of shock is eliminated. true.... the also are used for camber correction and some offer toe in/out as well.
