tein basics are like playschool - 'my first coilovers'
tein ss are like 'my second coilovers'

if your serious about autox go read about suspension in the autox forum

tein.co.jp

the basic dampers are fixed.
the ss dampers are 16 way adjustable - kicks ***, i love em. get the ss, they are well worth the extra 200 bucks.

tein.co.jp doesn't have specs on SS because SS is USDM only.

nah, its 14 clicks from full counter clockwise. there are 8 "empty" clicks that don't do anything.
