Tein Basic or GC/Koni Yellow?
Which set up would you recommend and why? I was saving up for Tein SS but i've realized that i probably won't need 16 way adjustability.
Just need some opinions, maybe from some of you who've had both?? Thanx

Re: (EGEESIX)
ground control / koni
always ran that setup and love it - easy to play with springs rates as you can get them from ground control in a short amount of time and the koni yellow shocks work great as well

Get the koni and the ground control. Like someone mentioned earlier, most people only get TEIN just to say they have TEIN. And the basic kit isn't really that wonderful. It all depends on what your plans are with it as well. I autox with koni and ground control and I would never give them up for the basic kit. Maybe the hyper flex kit. You also can specify what spring rates you want with the ground control. You can do that with the basic but its like and extra 500 bills to get them all revalved and by then you can afford the hyper flex kit

i guarantee that a coilover system is way better than a shock and spring combo.
Tein
A'PEXi
JIC Magic
Completely worth the extra cash. "You get what you pay for"

[QUOTE]
GC and Koni combination= close enough to a genuine coilover.
I love my koni's, I love my GC's

Re: (EGEESIX)
I can't decide if one is really better than the other but I am running Koni yellows and Ground Controls. They work really well for the price so I can't complain. I don't think I am at any disadvantage because they are not "ture" coilovers.
If someone handed me a set of Zeals I'd probably install them though. But a set of Tein SS...probably not.
