ground control with koni struts vs. tein basic????
im kinda stuck right now im not sure which one to get so i figure why not ask so what other ppl would pick....which is a better setup the ground control coilovers with koni yellow struts or the tein basic coilovers?????
i'd go with the koni yellow/gc, it's made in the US i think, the warranty usually isn't an issue, and i don't think tein comes with a lifetime warranty..
plus you can custom choose your springrates for your application with gc's

Koni/GC > Tein
The Tein Basics are utter crap.
You will not regret getting the koni/gc. What are your plans for the car?

I just bought some Koni with GC Combo for realllllll cheap rides good ! compaired to Tien basics that my friend has in the same type of hatch
i swear these "rides great" comments have more to do with spring rate than anything else. if you're split between a coilover and the GC/koni combo, the PIC apex should be the one you're looking at to compare, not the basics. the koni warranty is also a BIG deal if you're planning on keeping the car very long. the other wonderful part is your choice of spring rates. you can buy 300f 250r if you want a sporty DD ride. 450f 400r for autocross, or make that 450-500r if you have a slow course that requires a lot of turn in. all you have to do is switch up
