Tapping/jingling noise when going up hill...
Any help is appreciated. Recently, my car started making a moderate tapping/jingling noise when going up hill only or under load. In neutral/idle I don't hear the noise. Btw it's a 95 Ex, with 140k I have done a valve adj and it's still the same. I searched but to no avail.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I checked that too recently. I'm starting to suspect the oil pump. But then again I don't know what that would sound like if it's dying. Checked youtube for a possible video/audio on an oil pump issue, but couldn't find anything.

Sounds like detonation to me. Fill it with premium next time you need gas. If the noise goes away, you've confirmed it's detonation.
If it just started recently, you could have gotten a bad tank of gas. Otherwise it could be from the ignition timing being set incorrectly, carbon buildup in the combustion chamber, or from a lean A/F ratio.

You need to adjust the ignition timing with a timing gun while the service connector is jumped. Turn the distributor until the pointer aligns with the red mark (middle in group of three).
You may also need to adjust the valve clearances.
