Default Tape Casette Removal

Hey got a 96 civic, want to remove my casette player and plug my wideband + boost gauge straight forward to removing? (check FAQ no removal of player) Remove varous screws in the center consol put out the consol and un plug it? Correct?

Its not the radio, its right behind the cup holder ONLY for tapes =S
