Taking Bets - How long will this CV Joint last?
I've had a torn outer passenger CV boot for the past month now. I'm selling the car tomorrow, and they're getting the boot replaced, but that's not the issue. I have to drive ~140 miles in a few hours on the highway, and I'm wondering if it's worth risking it. I don't have another vehicle to take up there, so this is kinda my only option. Would speed have an effect on it? (Going 75+ for an hour). So far, the joint isn't making any noise, seems to be ok, but I don't know....
