Default Taking amber out of 93 civic Hatchback tails?

Okay so idk if you can do it. But i want the 50/50 style look (red/white) with my tails. And it looks to be if i take out the amber piece or sand it down it will be clear or white.

Is this possible on stock 93 Hatch tails? i "heard" you can use a solder gun and melt it off. ?

Doubt it's possible, but I removed the amber signals in my old 94 Prelude and used the plastic stuff they put over fluorescent lighting fixtures to make them clear. Amazingly still have a picture from like 6 years ago.

I've never had an EG taillight apart, couldn't tell ya if it's possible or not.
