tachometer question 99-00 Si?

tachometer question 99-00 Si?
it doesn't really bother me, but whenever i decide to gun my car, i notice that the tachometer needle can go past the normal 8k redline. i've taken the needle into 8300-8400 a couple times and i have not felt the fuel cutoff. i am pretty much stock right now except for i/e and am running on my stock ecu right now. i was just wondering if the tach is typically off coming from the factory? thanks in advance

mine seems to work fine..the fuel cutoff is at 8200 i believe and thats where mine cutS off..i dunno maybe i got lucky with one thats accurate

Its that crazy V-tec yo its to fast for the needle lol
No actualy all HOnda tacks are off a bit at high Rpms mostly most of my buddys with ITR's run to 9K on there tacks to hit redline dont worry u will not hurt anything thats what the limiter is for so hav fun going past
