99-00 civic SI top speed?

99-00 civic SI top speed?
I hit 141 mph with my stock 99 SI (besides a short ram intake) and it was still creeping, I just ran out of road at that point. I am kindof curious to what it can do stock, I was around 7700 RPMs so it still has another 500 rpm until the rev limiter. What are you guys topping you stock 99-00 civic SI's out at?

Well I actually calculated it out through a online calculator and based on gearing a SI can techniquely get up to 152 mph (give or take a few mph being its a online calculator) before hitting the rev limiter at 8200 rpms... Has anyone gotten it up there stock?

you dont need to be up there on a public street man, thats just rediculous if you want to kill yourself by doing it thats completely cool go to a track or something but you are putting people in danger that are unwilling to be in danger, that is just retarded

oh man would I laugh if you got a ticket at that speed....cause no doubt the next day you'd start a thread something like "****** police, what did I do wrong".
I'd also laugh if you blew your engine. Have you ever though about tires at that speed too, hope yours are rated for it.
Oh of course, then theres the vehiclular manslaughter charge when you kill someone in a mini-van who can't judge speed or pulls out of a denny's.

lol ya know its funny..when i got my car back when i was like 18...i think i ran it out to 130 MPH with just an intake.
now im nearing the 500 WHP mark with my turbo set up and i dont think ive been over 100 MPH.

HOw the hell do you know if it was on a street. Maybe it was on an empty highway with no one in sight. If it was on a street in sure he would have hit something cause there is stop lights and signs all over. So stop actin like your his parents and just answer a question of how much an Si tops out on... But if he did do it on a plain street thats his choice but hey how would i get engine swaps and parts if it wasnt for people like these crashin they whips...

i hit 143 mph on my 99 si mph on I-80 civic but it cost me later on down the road (about 1300$) bit that was my stupid moment and i wont ever go that fast on a public road again not a good idea for you and anybody else on the road

its not flaming, there r tons of accidents on long island. i see the flowers on trees and stuff and i hear about it on the news. when i had my si before it was stolen fastest i got was 110 but that was on the expressway and no one it.
