i got the same question toO ok.. i buy my techometer for some dude in the street... i dunno he 5 finger discount but i only pay 25 dollar for it everything work fine ...but i got problem at night ....no light coming on.cannot see at night ..what is the wire color?black,,red,,green,,,and were do i connect it to??? dim...

A lot of the time one wire is a power wire, one is a ground, and one needs to go to the negative terminal on the coil.

black wire- ground
red wire- power/ run to fuse box so it goes On/Off with ur key
green wire- goes to blue wire on distributor/ as i recall
white wire- dimmer

were is the good location for the dimmer switch or the dimmer fuse? cuz i try hooked up to my radio dimmer it don't work

wat fuse u use depends on how many amps ur tach night light needs.probably 7.5 so use the interior light fuse.
