Default Tach problems, Turbo B20b

Okay, searched and can't find anything on this. I just picked up a 1992 Civic CX, B20B, Turbo car. Didn't have the factory tach so I went and bought a LX cluster. Plug it into the CX chassis and nothing, it does not work. Checked the cluster in my buddies DX and it worked fine. Where do the tach wires run, and is there a test to check them? Or a bad fuse? just wondering thanks.
