swapped ecu(p28) in vx and now cel
I swapped in a p28 ecu into my vx and now it's throwing out a cel light. Anyone know why it's throwing the cel light? Is it the o2 sensor?

one of the harness on the passenger shock tower is missing the white wire for the 02 sensor to go to the ecu u need to add this wire from there to the ecu and that will fix it

Is there any links or how to's on the 02 sensor fix? I tried searching but got almost 1000 posts of nothing.

Checked the harnesses, didnt find any missing white wire. They are all there. Anyone got pictures or a link? Do I have to replace the o2 sensor also?

LOCATE THE 6 PIN PLUG BELOW ON THE PASS. SIDE VX SHOCK TOWER
The wires are in the following order:
ORG/BLU BLU/GRN WHT/BLK
BLU/YEL WHT/BLU YEL/WHT
REMOVE THE FOLLOWING WIRES FROM THE 6 PIN VX PLUG
ORG/BLU - O2 SENSOR
LOCATE THE 10 PIN PLUG PICTURED BELOW THAT IS ON THE VX SHOCK TOWER
The wires are in the following order:
BRN/BLK EMPTY BLK/RED
ORG WHT ORG/BLU WHT/BLU
BLU/GRN BLU/YEL EMPTY
[b]REMOVE THE RUBBER PLUG FROM THE UNUSED SOCKET
INSERT THE ORG/BLU (O2 SENSOR) WIRE INTO THE SOCKET BETWEEN THE BRN/BLK WIRE AND THE BLK/RED WIRE. (TOP CENTER SOCKET IN PIC)

Followed that guide, removed the orange/blue wire and was going to tap it into the missing slot on the 10 pin harness but even if I tapped it in there, there was no wire on the other side. Now what? I'm still using my stock vx 02 sensor, should I replace that o2 sensor also?

I think that the VX has a 1.5 Vtec...

Ya, but its a Vtec E. It's kinda different.

probably would have been good info to put in ur first post...
If you end up needing one, i have like 3 4 wire O2 sensors...

i didnt see that post. if he is still using the same o2 from the vx he needs to change that. because the vx comes with 5 wires other than 4.
