swaping out my rear drums for discs
i soon will be taking out my rear drums off of my 94 dx coupe and will be put rear discs from a 93 integra ls but the deal is i have to put my drums on his car so he can get rid of it. so what i wanna know is can i use the exhisting brake lines on mine and on his and the existing ebrake cables... also i know i need to swap out the proportioning valve and mc

if your swaping rears, you will need to carry over the brake hoses, e-brake cables, and proportioning valve that go w/ the brakes. Whatever parts that came off the civic should fit on the integra and vice versa. You may have to use some tapping screws (or body bolts) to mount the e-brake cables to the chassis. You do not need the master cylinder for this swap (only usefull if you change to bigger front brakes). If you pedal is mushy after doing this changeover, it's because you didn't bleed the brakes good enough, or one of your fittings is not tight. I have done a rear disc swap, and my 13/16 M/C feels great (bleeding took about an hour)...
