Default Swaped out cluster, now temp gauge doesn't work

I have and EG civic with a B20 in it. It came with a JDM cluster which has always worked perfectly. When I switched it out for an automatic transmission USDM cluster, the temperature gauge stopped working.

When I pulled it out, I saw that the JDM cluster was only hooked up to two ribbon cables that were at either end of it. I look at the USDM cluster and notice that it has 3 extra plug sockets that the JDM didn't have......a yellow and two green ones. I found a yellow plug on the dash harness that wasn't plugged in before so I plugged it in as well as the two ribbon plugs. But the two green plugs on the USDM cluster are empty. I tried it without the yellow plug too, but no dice.

Everything else on it works great.

Somebody told me that JDM clusters don't plug into USDM dash harnesses so I might have to switch out my dash harness. Another friend of mine said that the cluster is probably bad.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

The yellow plug is for the srs light, pictures would help here. I can't recall ever seeing any blue plugs for the cluster, except on del sol's.

I've never had a problem with plugging a EG JDM or EDM cluster into any of my EG/EH USDM civic's.

Small green plug is for the cruise control, large green plug is for the Auto trans selector indicator in the cluster. I think your Temp gauge is bad in the auto cluster.
