swap +save my A/C!
my girl drive's a 94 civic 4 door dx with a/c . we got a 2gen b-16 on the way from HMO . id like to save the A/C , so my idea is instead of undoing all the line's ill leave all of the asembely bolted to the mount , and just undo the 4 bolts that hold that mount to the block . then swing it foward and drop the new b-16 in and bolt it back on . with out removing any of the line's ? can this be done! and are the mounts for the b series really the same for the d series?(expect for the back one)

just unbolt the 4 mounts.. and leave the compressor hanging to the side.. or use zip tie to hold it to the side.. the only way u can use the ac is to get a del sol a/c bracket.. like 120-30..@hondautomotiveparts.com.. search not sure if it right...

The 99-00 P54 Si bracket will do the trick. I used it on my 96 CX swap and it was a direct bolt in using the Sanden compressor (CX OEM).
you can get it a lil cheaper from http://www.hparts.com

aren't the 96 and up civic compressors different though? on my EK I used a crv ac mount with my stock compressor. but on an eg he should use the del sol dohc ac mount just to be on the safe side.
