Swap an Obd2a B16A2 into an obd1 EG ?
Yo
I don't post often here, but I couldn't find my answer
I've just bought a setup...
It's a B18c4 (gsr) with a B16a2 (ek4) head. So the engine is now OBD2a
But my EG is OBD1, running a P28 with S300 Hondata.
Question is, how to fit it right in the car ?
i got the harness jumper, but what about the cluster/dash ?
DOes anyone have the cluster's harness full shema ??
Someone told me it would be easier to fit an eg6/9/2 obd1 ignition + vtec solenoid to make the engine obd1.
Any one, HELP ME !

just run everything obd-2 in the engine bay and use a obd-2 LS or GSR harness and then plug in a obd-1 ecu.

basically you need an obd2a or b wiring harness, i used A. should be all plug and play for your motor if its all obd2a. or b. but anyways. with the obd2 wiring harnesses, tehy went straight through the dash, no connecting harnesses like in Eg's. so than you get your obd2 to 1 cjumper harness, plug that into your ecu and you should be fine.
