if you have the time to do it now you'll have a great reward once winter is over. if you do it later maybe you can save up for more parts for your swap for example bigger throttle body, skunk2 intake manifold, crower cams, lsd for your transmission etc etc etc...

do it DURING the winter!
if you've got a garage, and are stuck inside,
**** man, it'll give you something to do, and you'll have alot of time so you can get everything done RIGHT!

but I voted for you being ghey..

not that you are. .but if you give me the option thats what i'm votin for!!

Later.

Don't want to run into any problems with snow on the gound. Plus its probably better to break the motor in when its not so cold out.

well yea, but the motor isent built or anything, it has like 85k on it, and the d15 in the car now has 200k on it, and burns oil, plus i was thinking, wouldent it be better to swap the motor in and get everything right before i bolt on all my ****, cuz if something is wrong then, its that much more i gota trace back.

plus im not going to go turbo untill i have the money to get tuned porperly, cuz yea, right at the start of spring i could turbo it, but id have no money for tuning, which = bad, most likely, either way i go the motor will go in the car without the turbo on it

trust me youd be alot better off doing a swap in the spring. plus it will give you more time to save money incase something goes wrong or you have to replace parts...etc

I say during the spring. Not only will the weather be to your advantage of getting everything right, but you can squize a couple thousand more Km out of that ol' d15 before it goes to the junk yard, or whatever you plan to do with it.

if you feel that the d15 will go out on you. and you still have good weather, go ahead and do the swap. that way you got the break in time during winter, and a more reliable engine to get you through. not to mention when spring hits you take to money you saved and just go to town on the goodies for the engine. just make sure you have everything you need before you start the swap.

if you got a place to be warm while you do it i say go for it now. that way you got plenty of time to make sure its working correctly before you turbo it next summer

I say to do it whenever you have the most time, so you can take your time and get it done right.
