Default Swap 4 my 93 Civic EX Coupe

Hey guys,
I was just informed that my tranny is about 2 go up and i figured i should just go 4 a swap now instead of buying a new tranny and then getting it later. What i need is a cheap motor that i can put in now and go back and rebuild later that will have some potential. I'm not tryin 2 make it insanely fast but maybe mid to low 14's. Would i b able 2 do this with a 88-91 b16A SIR? Any other suggestions on what i should buy?
Thanks,
RJ

you can do that swap, you just need to mounts to go with it. for the hydro to cable conversion.

B20, LS tranny, LS ECU, = cheap. probably a thousand bucks total.

JDM D15B turbo'd. you would still have to get a new tranny, but you would have a bad *** probably 13 sec car for under a grand.
