suspention problem....
ok...so i got some KYB struts and bought some lowering springs off ebay...well i work 6 days a weeks so im fairly busy and i would have liked to put all this stuff on myself...but i had a mechanic do it...and i was about to go get it aligned. and was raising my car from where i had it b/c it sat TOO LOW...and when i was messing with the back driver side i noticed it was kinda loose....well i took the carpet **** out from around it and noticed my strut was poking up through the hole and the rubber piece on bottom was just sitting on top of the spring...the place that i use to put them on is closed from SAT-MON...do you guys know what i can do to get it to stay down and in place or what....???

Re: suspention problem....
You mean the strut shaft is poking way up out of the top of the hat?
Sounds like they forgot to put the metal keeper/washer on the shaft before bolting on the top hat.

They didnt put the washer on correctly on the top of the shock shaft. Youll have to disassemble the shock/spring and redo it. Id check the rest of the work too.

yeah like the other guy said, take to strut/coilover off the car and remove the top hat and you'll need to put that washer on the shaft and then reinstall the top hat.

LOL they should fix it and if you really wanted to push it you could prolly get that whole job done for free cause they messed up, big time!
