suspension question......can this work??
i have noticed that the rear of my civic sits lower than the front. (by the way, im on Tein S-techs). Im wondering if i can switch the rear springs to the front and the front to the rear......can this work???

i dont think you can, are the springs for your front and rear EXACTLY the same? usually all cars sit lower in the rear....unless you lower your front only.

yeh but u might not want to do that cuz the springs in the rear are made for the rear and visa versa....itll mess your launching up as well

actually u can. i tried it before cuz i had the same problem for springs, but it bounces like crazie, dont think you will want it to bounces all the time.

eh, i dont even race the car on the track......also, the spring rates are really close.....

race cars (RR/AC forum) Switch front and back all the time, having front softer than the rears. Now keep in mind this will make your car tend to want to oversteer. Also, be sure your rear struts are capable of handling the higher rates, or they will bounce.

the rear fender is not as tall as the front one. Its hard to tell with the naked eye, but thats what makes it seem like the rear is lower. I hate the way that looks, thats why i adjusted my coils so that there is a one finger gap on all wheels. So in reality, my rear is slightly higher than the rear now.
And no, dont switch the front spring to the back, notice that the front spring is way thicker than the rear springs. Remember the front springs must support the weight of the engine, hence the higher spring weight as well.
